2STVORY x The Centre for Folk Art and Production
Discover Our New Collection: Touch of Tradition!
In 2024, we participated in the Open Studio of the Ústredie ľudovej umeleckej výroby (ÚĽUV), the Center for Folk Art and Production. This creative space provides opportunities for collaboration between designers, artisans, and art schools, fostering synergy and the creation of high-quality design pieces.
Our new collection, Touch of Tradition, was created in collaboration with the Open Studio of ÚĽUV. For this fabric design, we drew inspiration from original motifs of traditional embroidery found in home textiles and clothing elements—such as sleeves, aprons, and tablecloths—from the Trnava region.
The Touch of Tradition collection, like all our collections, is woven from high-quality European yarns on a jacquard loom. The blend of natural fibers—linen and cotton—ensures exceptional durability and excellent absorbency. With each wash, the fabric becomes even softer, adding a touch of timeless charm to your home.
Let yourself be captivated by the elegance of jacquard weaving, which creates a reversible pattern, ensuring that each side of the fabric has its own unique beauty.
All home and stylish accessories are sewn in collaboration with the sheltered workshop Dom Svitania Jakubov. This partnership brings to life collections of kitchen textiles and essentials, including tea towels, oven mitts, aprons, placemats, napkins, and small tablecloths, as well as home accessories such as table runners and cushion covers.
We care about the environment in our production process. Just as we design our fabrics from thread to finish, we also strive to use them efficiently. As part of our zero-waste program, we repurpose every piece of leftover fabric. This approach has led to the creation of unique items, such as our Mouse Oven Mitts.
In addition to our jacquard linen and cotton products, you will also find solid wood decorations designed in our workshop. These include cutting boards and board-bowls, which add a charming touch to shared dining experiences.
At a table set in a minimalist style, where natural materials and soft earthy tones take center stage, every meal tastes just a little better. Whether it's a shared family dinner or a quick breakfast, the experience takes on a whole new dimension.

"I would never have thought that a tea towel could grow so close to my heart. But it happened to me—especially because of everything this piece of fabric represents. Exquisite jacquard weaving, a rare find these days. A brand built on deeply thought-out values. Functionality, softness, and aesthetics going hand in hand. I won’t lie—2Stvory has brought the joy of beauty into our kitchen."

"For a long time, I had no passion for cooking and baking. But once I found my love for it a few years ago, I started caring about the tools and accessories I use every day—not just their quality and functionality but also their beauty. And that includes small details like tea towels.
2Stvory tea towels are among my absolute favorites. I've tried all of them and own every pattern. The softest ones line my proofing basket and wrap my bread. The 'Mouse' potholder was originally picked out by my son, but now I can't imagine cooking without it—it’s the best thing for handling pot lids!"
