Category: Touch of Tradition

The Touch of Tradition collection was created as part of the The Centre for Folk Art and Production "Open Studio", where we respectfully revisited Slovak traditions. Our work draws inspiration from historical embroidery patterns that once adorned textiles and garments in the Trnava region. In collaboration with the sheltered workshop Dom Svitania Jakubov, we have revived this timeless collection of jacquard home and fashion accessories made from linen and cotton.

The collection is woven from high-quality European yarns on a jacquard loom. The blend of natural fibers—linen and cotton—ensures exceptional durability and excellent absorbency. With each wash, the fabric becomes even softer to the touch, bringing a sense of timeless elegance into your home. Let yourself be enchanted by the beauty of jacquard weaving, which creates a reversible pattern, ensuring that each side of the fabric has its own unique look.

𝗗𝗘𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗦
- includes one tea towel 20x27'' (50x70 cm) in our unique "Touch of Tradition" design
- crafted from high-quality European yarns on a jacquard loom
- double-sided jacquard pattern
- woven from linen (52%) and cotton (48%) blend
- excellent absorbency, quick drying, and strength, making it ideal for kitchen use
- the kitchen towel has a small loop
- comes in various colors (please note that due to differences in monitors and browsers, actual colors may vary)
- tea towels have to be washed before use (first time max. 30°C, then every subsequent wash max. 60°C). They get softer and softer with each wash.
- we recommend not drying kitchen towels in the dryer, but letting them air dry
- due to the natural properties of linen (its tendency to wrinkle), the tea towels need to be ironed if you want them to be perfectly smooth

Always follow the care instructions on the sewn-in labels. For hygiene reasons, we recommend washing our products at 30°C before first use with a suitable (preferably eco-friendly) detergent to effectively remove any fine textile dust from the weaving process.
